High risk OBGYN rec.

Found out I’m pregnant but I don’t feel taken care of with my OB especially since I’m diabetic. Does anyone have a OB that specializes in high risk pregnancies? Preferably a woman and must be a BSWH doctor since my insurance prefers BSW providers. Thanks.

Magnolia OBGYN is at Baylor downtown and there are several doctors there, some specializing in high-risk. They have been my saviors since a life-threatening infection several years ago, and did my hysterectomy. They're all amazing women and you can't go wrong with any of them. Here's the docs' bios.

I LOVED Dr. Roth at Magnolia and the only reason I don't see her anymore is it's a way long drive for me now.

That's where I go. They are lovely, always very supportive

Vernon and Waldrep in Dallas Medical City. My wife was high risk as well. We had 3 miscarriages and 2 successful but very difficult pregnancies and they were the absolute best.

Lori Romberg out of Dallas medical. I absolutely love her- I had to be induced due to sone complications and she was truly the best!

As a heads up, my newly pregnant friend called just last week and was told Dr. Romberg is not taking new patients. But others at Women’s Health Alliance are also excellent!

I had Dr Norwood from WHA before he retired, and he saved my now 12 year old’s life. The practice as a whole was absolutely lovely.

I highly recommend Dr. Jolaiya Faturoti!! She listened to me when other doctors didn't. She might be a drive for you, as she is in McKinney, but I drive from Rowlett because she is worth it.

Dr Stewart with UTSW MFM at Texas Health Plano!

I don’t know all of their insurance arrangements, but I saw Drs. Rinehart and Greer for both of my high risk pregnancies and loved them. They’re thorough, explain everything in detail and answer every single question. https://www.mfmcdallas.com/team/

I love Dr Rinehart and Dr Greer and I’m type 1!

They’re wonderful! But man the wait times can be a bear. I walked in a couple months ago and the waiting room was literally 100% full. I waited over an hour in the hall outside their suite.

Second this. I saw them and my regular OB is Dr. Chhutani in the same building.

They got me through my two rainbow pregnancies!

Dr. Rinehart is the best!! I felt so lucky to have him on my care team. Can’t recommend him enough- he is thorough and caring.

Are you type 1? r/bumperswhobolus is great. I recommend Dr. Gunderson at Carlos Parnell at medical city

It's a bit of a drive from Dallas, but Joseph K. Leveno, MD at Medical City Plano is the best! He explains everything well, has tons of experience and has great referals too.
