Yeah he’s still kickin. He got in an accident and broke his neck and had to move into a nursing home like 15 years ago which meant he had to get mostly sober except for some drinking and the occasional smoking meth when he visits his family. Honestly that accident saved his life.
Yeah you and I will get downvoted for it but seriously, who collapses from ketamine? Unless you snort 100mg+ or IV it, you’re just gonna act like you’re drunk. Used to do ketamine treatments once a month as a depression treatment, 120mg IV still isn’t as intense as a moderate-high dose of dxm, and while it makes you look like a tweaker you can definitely walk off of dxm. So either it was laced or, more likely, the kid either used way too much or had some underlying condition. Just kids being stupid either way.
It's an anesthetic. The recreational dose is way below the safe medical dose. If you overdo it you simply are under anesthesia and it only lasts about 1 hour. Kid was probably alright before he even arrived at the hospital.
Bruh, he's 13, so it affects him more and definitely not practicing harm reduction. I imagine mf snorted a line and kholed. You'll fold to the ground if you do too much, it's literally an anesthetic. "Collapsed" doesn't have to mean he OD'd.
I’m just imagining most people would look at the story and go ‘goddamn drugs ruining our country’, not ‘wow what a dumbass, kid shoulda tried it out at home first’. Like what’d our man do, buy a gram and then rail it straight out of the bag right before getting on a bus?
I legit never hear negative stuff about trans people outside the internet, social media, and new media. In my normal life I haven’t had a conversation with someone that openly based trans people or even really being it up in conversation unless it’s interacting with a trans person or someone that goes by different pronouns. I think people blend too much of what they deal with online into the real world. Dear trans people, go enjoy the world and find community in person. The world isn’t as hateful as the internet wants us to believe.
I'm Trans and I've had literally zero negative experiences out and about. People are way nicer to me in fact, and smile at me more. I don't get a lot of direct shit online either but it has happened.

I do live just outside a prominent west coast city so tolerance is pretty high here. But we have a large portion of conservatives who don't have a problem with me but I notice double takes often.
My aunt disowned her child for becoming trans and then blocked everyone in the family who would talk to him, previously her. My grandma invited the kid to our grandpa's funeral, and my aunt told her she'd never visit again and then got in a catfight with another one of our aunt's.
I got trans homies and i am kinda like their cis straight wall for when goofy fools try to fuck with them. One of them was kicked out a club for going to the women’s bathroom. My other friend gets weird comments on the street from groups of men young and old. all the time and i bark back at them because they know if they try to speak up they will get harassed. Some times i have to get physical. Sometimes we had to just leave. It gets to them man and these dudes just wanna live life like the rest of us.
It's always from people who are trying to invent a problem. They stew in their own dirty underwear, sitting in their dimly lit apartment, just thinking of stuff to make themselves angry.
Ikr, the idea of separating humans into these artificial genders is such bullshit. Then they say you have to act a certain way because of some part of your anatomy? Completely asinine.
True, imagine being so obsessed with gender that you start taking hormones or get suicidally depressed because someone called you by a pronoun that fits your sex. Some people are truly insane.
So let's say your name is John and you're at a party. Someone comes up to you and says "Hey Chris". Is your response "Well I guess my name is Chris now", or would you say "Actually my name is John"?
Pronouns are just second-person names; "I/me" is first-person, "he/him" is second-person, and "John" is third-person. They're equally part of someone's identity, but third-person names are easier to relate to.
My argument is that you would also correct someone who refers to you with the wrong pronouns, but that situation is probably hard for you to imagine because you've likely never encountered it.
Anyway, if you were given the name "John" at birth but now go by "Jane", someone who refuses to use your she/her pronouns is also not going to call you "Jane".
I dunno, body mods seem rad, and medical treatment isn't a bad option to deal with a body you don't like. Might as well outlaw plastic surgery and hair implants while you're at it.
I can't think anything more distant from my experience from enjoying the concept of body mods. I love my skin as it is, I don't want ink below it, I like my natural hair colour and my ear lobes are fine. I don't want any piercing or earrings either. Plastic surgery most of the time looks like shit to me and thinking about my body being artificially modified kinda creeps me out.
But goddamn people should be free to do their own stuff for fuck's sake.
These people "against drugs to kids" will just use that as a starting point to enforce more and more of their selfmade rules on what we should be able to do with our bodies.

See I’m fine with my flesh but I’ll part with it if something better came along in a heart beat. And I’m seriously not trying to humble brag but I’m 6’2” and in good shape as is anyways
You see, when you were born, the doctor "guessed" what your gender would be by looking at your genitals and writing it in your birth certificate. But whether you have a penis or a vagina has nothing to do with whether you are a man or a woman. What matters is whether you "feel" like you're a man or a woman. That's why we have laws like California's 2020 Senate Bill 132, which allows women with penises to be housed in prisons that used to only have women with vaginas.
Its wild to me that there are people out there who have full on crash outs if they see or god forbid, have to interact with a person thats of different race or sexuality

but in this year and age? i swear most toddler tantrums are more valid than whatever is going through these peoples heads
The funny thing is it wouldn't even be a new concept in the 1700s. The gender binary was a mid-eighteenth century invention, and it was openly mocked in art of its time, like Mozart operas. Other operas from the same period include "trans" protagonists (raised/socialized not as their sex assigned at birth, though trans wasn't an identity).
People genuinely believed you could become the other sex later in life. Young kings weren't allowed around women after the age of 7 because they were afraid they'd turn into women, and one French queen who was really good at horseback riding had to have regular gynecological exams to make sure she hasn't grown a penis yet.
They didn't have a concept of sexuality because growing up as a male aristocrat, everyone's first experience was sex with men. A regular part of growing up for the aristocracy was going to Italy and sampling the sexual delicacies of both sexes.
All this to say, this wasn't even a 1700s thing. These things weren't pathologized until much later.
Source: am a music theorist, and these parts of culture are very well documented in musicians' diaries, journals, and similar resources from the time.

A lot of the ruining of video games comes from costs going up so you now need a team of 200 instead of 20. Apex legends is another one, there are loads of others that I can’t remember and can’t be bothered to type, it’s a little bad faith to assert that it’s just dragon age without checking that that’s the case
Because, in its genre, BG3 was one of the most anticipated games ever. There was no chance it was going to flop, even if a million people got refunds. When something is going to be such an obvious hit, the conservatives pretend it doesn't exist or make up some bullshit reasons why "actually, it ISN'T woke!"
No- a lot of developers are named gay or trans and they are linking that with the general decline with the quality of games. Look at how women are depicted in western studios vs eastern. This really blew up with the last Dragonage game.
"Gamers" being predominantly right-wing is so odd to me. No trans people didn't ruin your games, capitalism did.
Why are women and/or minorities shoehorned into games? Because gaming is a majority straight, white male hobby and companies are trying to expand their base to extract more profit.
Why are games worse today than they used to be? Because they're getting pushed out in an unfinished state to meet deadlines that keep shareholders happy instead of listening to the people working on the games or caring about putting out the best piece of art.
Why are gambling mechanics present, content locked behind paywalls/DLC? Because those things will make the companies more money than just putting out a quality game.
Why is every game becoming Fortnite? Because it makes insane amounts of money and that's all the companies care about.
Facebook is so unhinged now. You've got people openly hating eachother and wishing each other death. It's basically 4chan now minus being able to say slurs.
Most people(tm) don't care about trans but a few clinically narcissist no-lifers on Reddit think that not caring means hating. Exhibits may be found in the comments below.
I don't know what this sub's views on trans people are but I'm running low on karma so I'll just keep it vague on which side I'm on so that I get support from both sides.
Man that Anon is such an asshole. How can he live saying things like this? God help the other Anon, he needs it.
Yeah i have no political views been called and insulted for being a "centrist". For just trying to speak some logic into the echo chamber of POL here... like bro..im not against anybody but you have to realize ya'll are screaming about shit that takes time for others to accept and see as normal.. change dosent happen over night.
But things need to happen NOW and ALL AT ONCE..
Thought hearing both sides and understanding both sides was how politics should work for a happy means for everybody? Most average people who arnt to far left or right tend to have civil conversations about how to solve problems and not sound like a whiny bitch...
Because I dont know if you hate people for existing I wont outright state my opinion and try to later align wich the dominant side after I collected more insight

RocksHaveFeelings2@reddit
You mean how eastern studios don't depict women realistically?
Unlucky-Fault581@reddit
Yes- I'm not saying I agree- I'm just explaining what the chuds are saying. You people are so sensitive!

My guess would be the anger at collective shout, I group of Aussie Karen’s that made waves recently.

Their founder is a transphobe. They would be very much allright with hatred against the transgender community.

No video games have come out since the transening
YourBobsUncle@reddit
Why can't you losers just play video games you like
Sean-Benn_Must-die@reddit
? which games
TrevJohn502@reddit
That's what made your games worse.

It happened in Anon's head and it was very real to him.

Do you know Instagram ? Read comment there lol, they take any chances.
avagrantthought@reddit
If anon was claiming the comment was on reddit there's only a 1% chance of this being real.
If anon said the comment was found on Instagram or Facebook there's a 200% chance this is real.
leastemployableman@reddit
Facebook is so unhinged now. You've got people openly hating eachother and wishing each other death. It's basically 4chan now minus being able to say slurs.
jjkm7@reddit
That definitely sounds like a comment you’d find on instagram reels
abattlescar@reddit
Nah, it wasn't hateful enough.

I've seen similar comments on multiple platforms. Absolutely the type of unhinged shit you'd see online.

xyrus02@reddit
Most people(tm) don't care about trans but a few clinically narcissist no-lifers on Reddit think that not caring means hating. Exhibits may be found in the comments below.

I don't know what this sub's views on trans people are but I'm running low on karma so I'll just keep it vague on which side I'm on so that I get support from both sides.
Man that Anon is such an asshole. How can he live saying things like this? God help the other Anon, he needs it.
Sercotani@reddit
people hate centrists more than anything. See how right-wingers and left-wingers shit on liberals.
So, uh, fuck you! I guess.
Newclearfallout@reddit
Yeah i have no political views been called and insulted for being a "centrist". For just trying to speak some logic into the echo chamber of POL here... like bro..im not against anybody but you have to realize ya'll are screaming about shit that takes time for others to accept and see as normal.. change dosent happen over night.
But things need to happen NOW and ALL AT ONCE..
Thought hearing both sides and understanding both sides was how politics should work for a happy means for everybody? Most average people who arnt to far left or right tend to have civil conversations about how to solve problems and not sound like a whiny bitch...
Heistman@reddit
The people screaming at "centrism" on this site are not to be taken seriously. They are too far gone.
Newclearfallout@reddit
Yeah, i didn't take offense and understood that. I was just so confused because I didn't know the term, tbh lol I stay out of heavy political stuff..
