The Porsche C88 is a one-off family car prototype developed by Porsche for the Chinese market in 1994, which never made it to production. The project was a result of the Chinese government inviting foreign automakers to submit concepts for an affordable "people's car". Porsche was in a period of financial difficulty at the time and saw the potential for a high-volume, mass-market car.
