Russian drone damaged a occupied house in Poland, and they're coming in multiple now.

With Poland armed and arming to the teeth... I seriously don't like where this is going.
__shallal__@reddit
The escalation may now be exponential.
sfsp3@reddit
If Poland can throw enough force at Russia, Russia will use that as the excuse to bring in the nukes. It's like a man with a gun attacking a man with a knife, "He had a knife, I had no choice but to shoot him."
Poopbicycle1@reddit
I would shoot the man with a knife attacking me
Corrupted_G_nome@reddit
Then NATO would turn Russia to glass. I dont think vladdy wants that.
No-Fail7484@reddit
Poopin Putin is afraid of his nukes. He tried to send a rocket off as a show of strength and it fell over and blew up on the launch pad. Was a big bummer for him. His military is rotting away. No maintenance I guess.
georgieboy74@reddit
I read an article that stated that most Russian nukes are from Cold War era and probably will malfunction. They do, however, have many new nukes that can be launched from planes.
No-Fail7484@reddit
That’s what his b people told him. When he started his attack on Ukraine he thought he had a bunch of stuff. Instead it was junk. He had 2x4 wrapped to look like explosives and old old ammo boxes full of destroyed rounds. That was why the sudden purge of his highest ranking military personal. They had become corrupt as Putin was. They were spending the money he had then getting to build the weapons and munitions on a life of luxury. They then started falling out windows. Notice there was a period of that happening? Hard to say what they have as Putin is an old KGB crook and liar. He is a master at mis information.
CommitteeStatus@reddit
Then Rissia will turn NATO into glass. "Mutually assured destruction"
sfsp3@reddit
Assuming he is in his right mind.
Aimless_Alder@reddit
I don't think so. Russia blusters about nuking the world on an almost daily basis, but I think it's just hot air. Putin isn't stupid. He knows if he launches nukes, he's likely signing his death warrant.
sfsp3@reddit
As I've said; if he's in his right mind. "Assumptions are dangerous things to make, and like all dangerous things to make -- bombs, for instance, or strawberry shortcake -- if you make even the tiniest mistake you can find yourself in terrible trouble. Making assumptions simply means believing things are a certain way with little or no evidence that shows you are correct, and you can see at once how this can lead to terrible trouble. For instance, one morning you might wake up and make the assumption that your bed was in the same place that it always was, even though you would have no real evidence that this was so. But when you got out of your bed, you might discover that it had floated out to sea, and now you would be in terrible trouble all because of the incorrect assumption that you'd made. You can see that it is better not to make too many assumptions, particularly in the morning." Lemony Snicket
WhyAreYallFascists@reddit
Poland will roll in with or without NATO if this goes further.

How do you say "Leeroy Jenkins" in Polish?
MountainMapleMI@reddit
50 years of Soviet fuckery about to get its comeuppance
Ptownsquirrel@reddit
You do realize the Soviet Union hasn’t been a thing since the 90s and they are capitalist now and that’s why their lives are so miserable? Like this is an objective fact. The Soviet Union does not exist. You people live in a fantasy world.
Brief_Library3657@reddit
You are a moron if you think that just because the Soviet Union "collapsed" the base ideology has really changed much. Its mostly the same damn people in power from that era pushing for mostly the same objectives so shut it down with the high and mighty talk there commie. Haha you live in a fantasy world if you think its because of capitalism that Russia is the way they are today. Try again.
Ptownsquirrel@reddit
The base ideology has changed though. They became capitalists. And it still didn’t work!
MountainMapleMI@reddit
No, but the Russian dominated Soviet Union fucked Poland pre-during-post World War II yes? In fact it is the major reason the eastern block so vehemently joined NATO post collapse?
You live in a fantasy where humans immediately forget their parents and grandparents suffering.
Ptownsquirrel@reddit
You are so stupid if you actually believe that’s the Soviet Union was the reason Poland had anything lol. Like, you didn’t get fucked by the Soviet Union. You had been fucked forever. The tsar fucking hated you too. Yall are dumb and easily misled by Nazis. Who were committing pogroms in Poland well before Hitler came to protect them while the Soviets came to stop them.

I doubt it. No country wants to commit troops, and I doubt a few dead farmers will change any minds.
arbuzuje@reddit
I don't know where you people get this idea about "Poland so stronk". The constant news about us buying some military stuff?
Guys, our prime minister and criminal president can't agree on working together on the simplest things. Minister of defence is an idiot who has literally no military experience and was put in this position when the coalition between parties was made after the elections, only because it was prestigious enough.
All the best generals and military personnel left during the previous government rule because it was 8 years of something like USA is undergoing right now. With A LOT of stolen money.
I literally can't read anymore of this "Omg Poland will steamroll". No, we probably won't. I'm amazed by this legend though, I'm not sure who is responsible for this soft power spread, because FOR SURE it's not polish government.
Jesus I wish I could say that we're these mfrs just waiting to kick some butts, but the truth is just sad.
ohyeahwell@reddit
As an American you guys are portrayed as European Texans just itching to beat down Russia.
arbuzuje@reddit
Texans? Definitely. I make this comparison myself. Beating down ruzzia and doing anything besides empty words? Not so much.
I mean maybe if poop hits the fan people would organize and do an outstanding job, because we are awesome at spontaneous, unplanned acts of bravery. But at the government level? Lol. These idiots would fight, sure, but between themselves for money and what is left.
Ukrainians saved our asses BIG TIME.
Resident_Chip935@reddit
ouch.
If I'm Putin, then I already know this & I'm thinking - invading Poland isn't a great idea, but tipping it over to fall on its own - that's cheap, easy, and beneficial. It's what Putin tried in Ukraine and has had success with in Georgia.
arbuzuje@reddit
Exactly this and that's why ruzzian propaganda is running wild in polish social media. They make us fight between ourselves and hate on ukrainians too. People fall for it like oblivious children. It's really hard to watch all of this.
Ehhhhhhh
Acceptable-One-6597@reddit
NATO is going to on this one no doubt. US SHOULD go but with this dickhead in charge who knows...
luciferlol_666@reddit
I do. Fuck russia. I hope poland gets involved more in the war in ukraine now. Only way to stop a violent bully is with greater violence.
AntiSonOfBitchamajig@reddit (OP)
Yeah, but you don't want things cascading, war is horror... and too many people haven't seen the horrors.
luciferlol_666@reddit
Check my profile. Im very aware of russian behavior.
spikeyTrike@reddit
Is it better to die free or live under a tyrant’s boot? I would think every soldier who volunteers knows the answer or at least their answer. And I’d wager the civilians in between Putin and his goal know their answer. Putin isn’t going to stop until someone MAKES him stop. This won’t end at the border of the Donbas or Crimea, or Ukraine or Poland or the Baltic states. He’s trying to recapture the height of the Russian Empire because he thinks he’s Peter the Great.
Fubar14235@reddit
Why are you acting like it's a binary outcome
spikeyTrike@reddit
I don’t know what the outcome is going to be but there are only two sides here. You can’t be both neutral and stand against tyranny.
billwongisdead@reddit
you're both right - war is awful but you also can't let someone come and take your home
spikeyTrike@reddit
I think it’s a value judgement we all have to make for ourselves. There are no winners in war only casualties but without a backbone how can any of us stand on our own?
NoTerm3078@reddit

Likes2Phish@reddit
Yeah fuck Russia. I hope they all get what they deserve.
Raaniz_Kaan@reddit
Why are they doing this?
nunyabizz62@reddit
This is pure propaganda. The unarmed drone was shot down and happened to fall on some farmhouse out in the middle of nowhere.
Its more likely than not the Ukrainians sent the drone in a last ditch effort to draw in NATO.
It would make absolutely zero sense that Russia would fly unarmed decoy drones over Poland for no particular reason, the proxy war is all but over, doing this wouldn't change anything but take a chance that NATO would be stupid enough to join in just prolonging a war they wanted nothing to do with in the first place.
The only entity that would have anything to gain is Ukraine.
NT676@reddit
I said that from the beginning. False flag. Those drones were jammed/hacked and purposely flown over Poland. Russia is so fucking weak militarily. Why would they want to draw NATO in?
nunyabizz62@reddit
Russia can stomp the pure shit out of NATO with just 200 oreshnics.
They technically have a stronger "defensive" military than THE But this was definitely a FF
NT676@reddit
Capture and hold ground with missiles? You’re dumb
Fun_Canary_8403@reddit
Sorry, but this specific picture is debunked.
It's damage from the weather, a storm or something, couple of years ago, and has nothing to do with latest development.
Girafferage@reddit
Well it seems like the damage was from the debris falling after Poland destroyed a drone, not the drone taking any action. So that's something I guess.
Spibas@reddit
Right, drones were there for sightseeing tour hehe
NT676@reddit
False flag
King_Kea@reddit
Alternatively, there's speculation that at least some of the Shaheds used were recon variants and this could have been intended to test Poland's air defenses and probe for weaknesses.
With that in mind a non-explosive shahed smacking into a house still checks out for the debris.
SummertimeThrowaway2@reddit
Several NATO countries came to Poland’s defense, but not the US.
TantricBuildup@reddit
Trump wants to get out of NATO - i think you can use that for any future attempts at wondering where USA is. He is clearly on Russia side now
Any_Fun916@reddit

Everyone in this sub should be and should have been stocking up on rations, ammo and guns. Off grid if possible. Water supply and what not. Things are coming home and by the looks of it sooner than expected. Be careful yall. Things are getting hairy.
melympia@reddit
Tell me you don't live in Europe without twlling me you don't live in Europe. Do you have any idea how strict our gun laws are? Obviously not. Europe is not the wild, wild West.
Corrupted_G_nome@reddit
Lots of Europeans have guns and gun festivals. Some have mandatory service.
Gun density per sq km is higher in some EU cities than in the US.
strongman_scrubs@reddit
This feels like a poor metric considering EU vs US population density
Corrupted_G_nome@reddit
Lol. Yes. That is how sq km works ;)
Thanks captain obvious!
I also know Americans will stay home stroking their guns and having a beer during any kind of crisis.
Europeans have a long history of fighting off larger agressors... Weird hunh?
Normal_Ad_6645@reddit
I know Finland has more guns per capita than any other country (at least last I checked, maybe not anymore), and for a very good reason - Russia being their beighbor and all. That doesn't mean every European country has the same gun laws. In fact some of them are very strict. Hell man, Ukraine even doesn't have laws that permit people carrying firearms for self defense, despite the country being in a state of war, and to obtain rifles or shotguns for hinting you have to jump through so many hoops that you'll go crazy by the time it's done.
Corrupted_G_nome@reddit
How do you think the small nations of Europe have survived for so long?
Oh no, not legal background checks. /s
melympia@reddit
Same in Germany. Yes, we do have those "gun festivals" (Schützenfeste) - but most of those guns are air rifles. They're pretty useless unless you happen to hit someone's eyeball.
Accomplished-Bet8880@reddit
I’m not speaking to Europeans. I’m speaking to Americans.
melympia@reddit
I'm pretty sure Russia isn't going to invade anything American anytime soon.
hopper2210@reddit
Americans might be invading Americans
melympia@reddit
Americans aren't Russian. Yet.
Accomplished-Bet8880@reddit

You said everyone in this sub, this sub isn't prepperintelAMERICANS lol.
Accomplished-Bet8880@reddit
Oh snap. My bad. It’s just my American centrist mentality.
0t3p0t@reddit
Well yeah exactly, Asia is on brink of war as well and here in my third world full of corrupt politicians, chaos will likely to happen sooner or later just like our neighboring countries. I would love to prepare for me and my family but yeah life is hard, guns and ammo is out of reach which is one of the most important thing for protection aside from food and water in times of chaos. If only I had enough funds for that purpose I will surely get a firearm licence immediately.
__shallal__@reddit
I would argue just as expected. This has been boiling for almost five years, though it has been lining up for decades.
Accomplished-Bet8880@reddit
True.
FesteringAynus@reddit
I can't wait to see the state of this sub when all world governments decide to give up their power to the UN. It'll be a wild unexpected turn of events but it's on my bingo card for sure.
EarlGreyAllDay6969@reddit
That's an insane prediction lmao. It's also a very 90s conspiracy theory. The UN is not nearly as powerful as it once was. It's last new peacekeeping mission was in 2014, over 10 years ago.
Why would the world governments decide to give their power to an in effectual organization that barely functions?
The world is turning more and more towards nationalist isolationism, the trend is the exact opposite of suddenly deciding to cooperate under a single government lol.
FesteringAynus@reddit
You're 100% correct. I agree with you completely.
But just wait and see. When it happens, remember this comment. It's gonna be a wild ride and I'll need someone to freak out about it with.
Apprehensive_Rush_76@reddit
The New World Order right?
FesteringAynus@reddit
Idk what that is tbh.
Apprehensive_Rush_76@reddit
It’s an old conspiracy that all governments will collapse and a new world order will rise. It’s interesting to google.
ProfessionalFly2148@reddit
If this happens I will freak out with you too 😜
Triks1@reddit
I wonder if it was debris from one of the drones that was shot down?
Corrupted_G_nome@reddit
Yeah, they would be the larger size drone and the house would not exist.
They carry a payload closer to a small cruise missile.
King_Kea@reddit
There's speculation that at least some of the drones may have been in a recon configuration and that Russia was probing air defense for weaknesses. Still a large drone but no warhead in that case I think?
Corrupted_G_nome@reddit
Yes, I did see that later.
Seems to be an intentional probing of defenses with non lethal assets.
Making it very deliberate.
thegreatmizzle777@reddit
How did that do so much damage on the outside but not effect the frame??
King_Kea@reddit
A belly landing at speed scraping along the roof would do that. The frame is damaged, but looks like most of the damage was the roof being scraped off?
cozycorner@reddit
What is even happening? Why is Russia sending drones over Poland?
ImNotFromTheInternet@reddit
Russia almost as violent as American Liberals
BibendumsBitch@reddit
There needs to be a line drawn by Poland and NATO and if the risk is accidentally attacking Poland then maybe Russia needs new targets further away.
But I’d understand too if I were Poland that they should just wait a little bit for Germany and others to build their military up in case of full blown war.
Shadysoulja710@reddit
How fuckin big was that thing? I was picturing something like a racing drone
improbablydrunknlw@reddit
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HESA_Shahed_136
It's a variation of those.
Girafferage@reddit
Racing drone can't hold a battery big enough to go long distances. These are more like small planes.
