I've been REALLY struggling to get any decent indian takeaway ever since moving here.... Anybody got good suggestions?

India Curry House. Nuff said.

Just nah. Everything here tastes super tangy and does not have authentic flavour like bengali ones as the owner/chef is indian/seekh. Perhaps issue with their bass sauce.
Tried 3 times and all 3 times bombay aloo were uncooked and crunchy af. No thanks. Tiny container.
Chicken curry portions also not good foe the price ratio.

Golden Curry in Bletchley is usually our go to after trying several around MK (https://goldencurryrestaurant.com/our_menu.php)

Sorry, but my experience was the opposite - the butter chicken was annoyingly sweet and the meat was not grilled and marinated. That's an absolute no-go when it comes to authentic Indian Butter chicken.

Tbf I would never order a butter chicken 🥴

You probably would if you tried the original recipe from Delhi. Unfortunately, its takes time to get it right and that's why people take annoying shortcuts that f*SD up the dish and give it a bad name.

No, this dish sucks from every single takeaway.

Rose of India. Small restaurant tucked away in bletchley. Absolutely beautiful

I was thoroughly disappointed by Rose of India. Highly overrated.

Its not even the meat quality its just not cut properly, huge pieces so the meat barely soaks up the seasoning from the sauce or maybe they don't cook it with the sauce long enough that's why i never went back after trying it a few times 4-5 years ago and had exact same issues each time. Flavours are decent.

We’ve always liked Maaya Indian Kitchen at The Hub
Tansen378@reddit
All of my Indian friends residing at the hub discouraged to try Maaya.

Their chicken tikka sucks not thr traditional marination instead it has that mustered seasoning at sirilan restaurant/take aways like Talk n Tikka which i officially hate now.

The Grange, the Mayaa, Purple Mango and that one at the train station (can't remember the name) are all good

I think the station restaurant closed.

The La Hind did but it re-opened as The Don. Unless that's closed now too
oalfonso@reddit
Yes, I saw real estate signs there last week.

I miss the dawn i think it was same chefs as La hind and whatever it was called previously.
