Do monkey's always peel bananas from the bottom?

Its a meme and myth on the internet that all monkeys peel bananas from the bottom and humans are the ones doing it wrong. I have a hard time believing that a monkey will always choose to peel the banana from pinching the bottom and then unwrapping and eating it from the bottom.
This myth could be tested on several different monkey species as well as ape species. I doubt that every single species will prefer to eat a banana upside-down all the time. But it will be fun to see if it is truly random or not and which species do what. There are over 250 species of monkeys, they may not all even like bananas or even know how to peel one.

New information:
Maybe Big Bananas created this myth so others cannot propagate their own banana business through the shoots/roots of the banana reproductive organ.
