Did the emergency alert test siren sound the same on all phones?

I was in a car with two other iPhone users when it went off and they all sounded identical, as you might expect. But does it sound the same on Android phones?

It depends on the phone settings. On some Androids you can change the sound. Nearly all let you set the volume though.

My One Plus Nord, just got a message, no tone.

The Androids in my house all did a similar high whoosh then a fart-like low bleep, repeated. A bit like the BBC Micro turning on. I hit something and the message disappeared before I read it, which probably isn't great.

Mine was vibrate and a soft ring tone. I was expecting to be on QI with the wrong answer, instead I thought I was getting a random call on a Sunday. Brother said his made a loud noise, then started to read the text out loud because he hadn't touched his phone, then it shut up by itself. Samsung low tier phone Android semi recent version not sure what mind you.

I think that's the intention - it needs to be a distinct noise that doesn't sound like your phone ringing or a normal alarm/notification tone. Here's a video of when it went off live on BBC news. My Android phone sounded the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCNBPt7vcrQ
