i hate the grey fog they put on all their videos

Yeah I'm not sure who's in charge of the editing on Harry's garage but wtf are they doing? 10 seconds into the video and the white balance is crazy, look at that jag just become a white glare

I like Jezzas „romantic“ approach to cars, that they should be more than just a machine that takes you from point A to B (which is something that also EVs can be). But apart from that… jeez, those two are really stuck in the past (unlike James for example, who managed to develop) and I can’t stand Jezzas unreflective EV-bashing. Yes, they still need to be more developed but there’s no denying that EVs are and have to be the future. And driving cars from 2015 until the end of time is obviously not the solution either, neither are e-Fuels (way to expensive and not efficient enough). He brings up the topic of EVs multiple times and mostly just goes off about how they don’t make noise… As entertaining as he is, the more I read/see from JC these days, the more I’m glad that they ended TGT when it still was good and entertaining. These days it would probably just be an old man rambling about „the good old times“ and „woke leftists“ etc…

When does Jezza ever say woke leftists?

I love Jeremy's take on his own car. No options but loves it, because of how it looks, doesn't go wrong, and how it make him feel. Cat makers would do well to pay attention . As everything gets more complex and annoying (yes some of it legislated) and tech added for the sake of it. There's space in the market to wind that back and get an affordable, good looking car, that people lost after. As an EV Renault 5 took that path to a certain degree, but heated wheel etc? There's still more opportunity without reaching Dacia Spring levels. The same applies to ICE.

but can you still fit a couple oil paintings in the boot?

That purple jag looks great.

They had beautiful F type and replacing it with some electric monstrosity yea I'd say it was not the best of ideas…
AmazonPuncher@reddit
I wish i thought the f-type looked as good as everyone else does. Every time I buy a new car, I brielfy consider an f-type, but I just cannot get over the looks. I think the new one is a big improvement, but the older one everyone likes is just a bit awkward looking imo.
Key-Win-1366@reddit
The F-Type was beautiful and yet everyone bought the 911. The XE on launch looked great and yet everyone bought the 3 series. The I pace was great for its time but got its lunch eaten by Americans and now the Chinese.
In the super high end there’s less likely to be as much competition, they may actually have a market where they aren’t fighting a defacto option.
Maybe they should take an FType platform and make a super limited supercar out of it, charge a few mil each.
soyifiedredditadmin@reddit
Idk I see alot of f types there were different models too 8, 6 and even 4 cylinder and the 4 cyl was way cheaper than 911, just today I seen both V8 and 4 cyl. That's what they wanted to do super high end electric but nobody wants it so I think it's a bad idea, EU is to blame for this though they are forcing carmakers into building something nobody wants Mercedes CEO just has said that it's gonna ruin the industry I think he knows his business well but EU won't listen, they are zealots.

I couldn't agree more about mid 2010s having the best cars. Every time I look at a new car I see the dash, lack of buttons and the safety annoyances and just think, nar not for me.
Positive_Flower_298@reddit
So on point with the stupid driver aids and car design in general.
Love the casual chat of Jeremy and Harry being able to speak through their thoughts with no silly quick editing.

I liked Clarkson's point that nobody, even people who buy Jags, were buying Jags anymore, but there was a chance the coastal elites who voted for Kamala would buy the new type.

Interesting video, though I think that it would get more visibility on this subreddit if OP wrote a better headline. Here are some of my headline suggestions:
“Harry Metcalfe talks with Jeremy Clarkson about Jaaaaags!”
“Jeremy Clarkson and Harry Metcalfe discuss all things Jaaaaag”
“Found the suspects driving those Jaaaaags at Clarkson’s pub!”
SubjectiveAssertive@reddit
OP has seemingly just copied and pasted the YouTube video title
FlipStig1@reddit
It’s OK to use the original YouTube headline, though a part of me wishes that a short description accompanied the video to add some context (and encourage others to watch it!).
LickMyKnee@reddit
Fucking love Harry. The best automotive content on YouTube by far.

Quality video - I just finished watching it with my Sunday roast!
I could watch JC and HM talk cars for hours on end!
