Mechanics already track a lot of this stuff. Your goal is make ownership “stress-free and enjoyable, so owners can focus on flying rather than paperwork, inspections, or chasing engineers” I still have to worry about the paperwork. I still have to get inspections and maintenance… and I don’t chase engineers. I think I understand your concept but this just sounds like another person I have to pay to monitor the things I’m already monitoring. A lot of the things you’re talking about can be done with an app but would require updates nearly every time you fly so you know when to “alert” me.

I can only speak for myself but when I find a shop willing to do the work I need to the standards I approve of, I simply run those things by them. I don’t perpetually shop around for the cheapest shop. I’m also willing to spend a bit extra for quality workmanship. I do get intent. Just not sure I see a role personally.

Totally understand – idea isn’t to interfere with that, just to take care of all the time-consuming admin: tracking inspections and compliance, organising paperwork, getting quotes, and coordinating bookings. That’s just one part – we’d also offer things like hangar coordination, digital logbooks, cost planning, and acting as your point of contact for engineers or shared ownership. Basically, everything behind the scenes so you can focus on flying.

This is essentially what Savvy Aviation does at a pretty decent scale, so there is clearly a market for it. I don't know if it's a replicable business though -- Mike Busch has spent the last 20+ years building his reputation as a GA maintenance expert, and that's probably the main reason Savvy has succeeded.
