This article is straight up Ukraine propaganda.

Completely. I also like the part where Ignatius implies that Ukraine is shooting down all Russian drones and missiles. This “jamming” fab bombs is a claim made by Peter Zeihan a few months ago. Also note that Ignatius works for the intelligence community, so this is the approved narrative.

Then Ukraine is winning, right?
I am so tired of this obvious lie.

Note how they always give Russian casualties as a number and mention Ukrainian casualties in passing as some vague ratio. Also, what are these “some battles”, can’t he nail that down? Also, there is no battlefield reporting allowed. “Modest gains” where?

I think that was the whole point of the article: Ukraine strong, Russians dying in wave attacks, glory to Ukraine and our dear leader Zelensky!

Not to mention anyone paying attention can see the exchanges of the dead where Russia sent over 1,000 bodies and Ukraine didn't have any while the previous exchange was something like a thousand bodies of dead ukrainian forced conscripts for bodies of nine Russian peacekeeping volunteers.

The war will continue as long as both sides have men and money.
