Aluminum, cat rigged unstayed mast (like a nonsuch), deck saloon pilothouse with galley in the saloon.

Like this interesting creation? (has stays, but I’ve been itching to share this photo 😉)
madworld@reddit
I wonder how well it sails to weather.

Wow thanks for sharing! That is wild! It has the aluminum part and the deck saloon part and if sailed backwards it would almost have the cat rig part!
Can I ask a favour? Can you please track down the owner and interview them and post about it?
spongue@reddit
I know where that is :) Just stopped there a few days ago and was amazed by this as well
noknockers@reddit
Wtf is that?
StatisticalMan@reddit
I know it is not but it looks like what AI would think a sailboat should look like.
jawisi@reddit
All that effort not to get hit in the head by the boom is gonna get him hit in the boat by a mast.
Beelzabub@reddit
It needs self tacking jibs.
strictnaturereserve@reddit
it is lovely looks like it could go anywhere
DeffNotTom@reddit
Aft masts are usually weird… but this is EXTRA weird lol
MikeHeu@reddit
My brain hurts looking at this
realphantomus@reddit
that is some design right here ))
RBR927@reddit
Why so specific?

Just my dream boat! Aluminum for durability, cat rig because I've always thought nonsuch were cool, deck saloon / pilothouse / galley in saloon because I'm from the PNW and it sounds like a combo that would be conducive to winter sailing.

Used? Probably not. New? Sure if you have the coin

I guess custom build would be the only way!
