Is it still worth buying a jeep commander 2010 nowadays?
SexyWampa@reddit
Yeah, don’t.

Comparing it to ford territory 2022

I had a V6 and it was a great 7 seater. Used to put the kiddos in the back and in-laws in the jump seats. Of course it was newer and under warranty. I guess you can get a 3rd party warranty, but the higher miles and possible lack of maintenance could be disturbing.

It isn't worth getting paid to take a commander.
EnlightenedCorncob@reddit
As long as it has the 5.7 v8. The 3.7 v6 is not a great engine hence why they don't make it anymore.
Its not as horrible as the reddit echo chamber says. Reddit will see "Jeep" and immediately start screaming.
The problem is that there are cheaper vehicles that will do the same job. If you find one with a decent price, it might be worth it.

Didn't it offer the 4.7 too?
EnlightenedCorncob@reddit
Yes, forgot about that one. The 4.7 is a decent engine too, as long as it stays cool. Soon as they start to get hot, stuff breaks fast.
I had that engine in a 02 Dakota.

Yeah I heard some things about the engine but they were mostly solid gas guzzlers.
EnlightenedCorncob@reddit
Thats been my experience, not great gas mileage, but decent power for the weight/size
Heavy_Gap_5047@reddit
If you need a cheap third row SUV, it's cheap enough, and has the 5.7. Otherwise there's almost certainly better options.
banieldowen@reddit
no. It didn't make sense in 2010, and it makes less sense now.
end the thread.

NO!!!!!!
NOOOOO!!!!!!!
They were shit cars from the factory, rule of thumb is don't buy used Chrysler products ever (there are some exception if you like pain, and nineties jeeps were reliable if shitty.)
