? What’s wrong with this 2001 forester ? The engine is shaking and when I hit the gas it spits and sputters and won’t go over 10 mph

I just bought a new cam shaft sensor knocker sensor throttle position sensor

Just throw more parts at it. Sure you’ll eventually find the fault……..or not

I figured out how to get it diagnosed mode but the engine light is out I guess cause it doesn’t come on at all

Some codes are only read from a factory scanner, unfortunately.
If you changed your distributor, are you sure it’s timed correctly? If it’s just the cap and wires, sounds like you’re off with the wire placement.

Very true I wasted money on spark plug wires and spark plugs and ignition coil already

There could be many things wrong. You're going to have to give more information. What led to this? Do you have a CEL? Is there colored smoke coming out the exhaust? Is the coolant clean, is the oil good? Are you hearing the fuel pump, it should make a whirring sound after key on?
This could be a minor fuel system problem, or you could have catastrophic loss of compression.

It was driving all right until I changed spark plugs ignition coil and distributor

Put it back to the way it was. If you used aftermarket cheapo parts, there's your problem. Get OEM parts. And set your timing properly.

There’s 7 codes that my obd2 scanner won’t read

Do you put the cables back on in the correct order?
lucky-its-not-up2me@reddit (OP)
Yes I think
rosscO66@reddit
Well considering it was fine until you changed those, it's obviously something to do with that.
Get a good look and see if the spark leads from the coil are going to the correct spark plugs. I'm 90% sure this is the issue
lucky-its-not-up2me@reddit (OP)
U would think but I put all the old stuff back on and it’s still doing the same thing
rosscO66@reddit
In the right order?
lucky-its-not-up2me@reddit (OP)
98% sure
rosscO66@reddit
Gonna need a video of it running
lucky-its-not-up2me@reddit (OP)
Can u tell me exactly what’s the numbers on spark plugs?
rosscO66@reddit
Engine code?

Alright so that's probably your problem. Ensure you have the correct firing order, ensure all plugs are tight, ensure all wires are firmly seated, ensure correct torque specs on rotor, and ensure cap is firmly clamped.

Your mechanic can diagnose it and tell you, for a fee.
