Any Mural Artists available for commission?

I want to hire somebody to make the most photorealist version of my fence on the black privacy fence I installed. I have been coming up short on Marketplace and Craigslist for Mural or Airbrush artists, but I have lots of faith in the DFW reddit community -- please hit me up with a referral if you have one!

Depends on scope. I have other mural needs but for this at least a couple hundred

Thanks for that, I definitely don't want to insult or low-ball, I want this to be a quality job and am also probably going to have my other fence done on a true mural design, so having the right expectations is important.
What do you think is a fair price for this, supplies and labor?

It’s hard to say, I haven’t bid a job in 5yrs. But I can say it’s going to be in layers, paint the base coat one day, has to dry completely before you come back and start the faux finishing. After the faux work getting the color right you will want to do a protective top to seal it from the elements. So think at minimum some one coming to your house 4 days. It will have to dry in between layers.

You really need a faux artist more than a muralist. Nothing artistic about this but does take some skill to make it look like wood.

His work is highly stylized usually, not sure if he would be the right guy for the job, but he is fairly involved in the mural scene and may be willing to point you in the right direction. Or maybe he does more photorealistic work I’m unaware of, but it’s a place to start.

Junius Heights just had a wonderful mural completed. You should search out that artist.
