its a pretty rough dent, and its in the quarter panel so it can't just be replaced like the rest of the scuffed parts. was womdering what something like this might run me?

A lot of these suggestions end in "I bet". I'm an actual collision repair tech.
You have to get to the area behind the dent. It looks soft with no creases from the pictures. Use a heat gun to warm up the metal, and use something without an edge to push from the inside.
Also, you're looking around $100/hr labor time and at least 10 hours labour.

Oh hey, you’re the teenager with the v6 mustang. I’ve been rooting for you man, you’re doing great.
All of us start out being fools, there’s no shame in it. There’s only shame if you actively choose to remain a fool.

that's where i get confused in all this. this whole hobby makes me feel like a fool lol
I get it, but people spend so much money on things, that I have a hard time deciphering where the line between cool and fool is
coming from heavy video game playing, everyone called that a waste of time, but it was so much cheaper lol

In the end it's about what you want to do, your skills, your budget, and your tastes.
We all make big mistakes sometimes. It's part of the learning process. I torched a customers car on accident. It happens. Take your time and don't be in a rush.
I will always look at someone who put the time and energy into something, that's wrong or broken, or rusty or anything higher then a car thats perfect, tbh

Get a paintless dent removal tool kit for like $20 on Amazon.. it would get most of them out i bet

Kind of a crap area to get a dent. I'd pop it out DIY and then see if a PDR outfit can get it as clean as possible. Actual body shop, probably looking at 2k-4k, of not more.

you could football pop it for like $20, won't be perfect but a lot better
