How to software upgrage with Stratus ftServer?

A year or so ago we had a Stratus ftServer installed for high availability. Now we need to upgrade the application that it's serving. We got about 10 minutes of training on the whole setup, and the integrator is long gone. I simply want to isolate one of the cpu enclosures, upgrade the software, bring it back online, and have the other server "catch up" to the upgrade, so they become one upgraded logical device with zero downtime. I can't find a step by step on how to do this anywhere. Does anyone have experience with this?

Yes! Bad news is, the way you ask makes me think you might struggle to handle the task on your own if left unattended. No offense! I'd suggest contacting Stratus, they’ll point you to a VAR who can actually help. Sadly, the one who did all the heavy lifting for us on Stratus (and some OpenVMS under the table) was a classic Mom & Pop shop, and the great-gray-bearded-guy simply retired.

That's not how the Status stuff works, at least back in the day when I was doing VOS stuff. You really should get in touch with Penguin Solutions https://www.penguinsolutions.com/ and get some support. They took over the old Stratus stuff some time ago.
