New graduate struggling to find a job. HELP!

Hey everyone,
Hope you're all doing well!
So, I recently finished CDL school – it was enough to get my license, but I'm finding the job hunt a little tougher than I expected. The thing is, a lot of companies want that extra 120 hours of training, which my school didn't provide. To make things a little more complicated, I also have a couple of things on my record: a deferred adjudication for a non-violent felony (third degree) and a recently deferred speeding ticket. TMC unfortunately turned me down because of this.
I'm based in Dallas, TX, and really eager to get started. Does anyone have any suggestions on trucking companies that might be willing to give someone like me a chance? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can't guarantee anything, but try Sharkey Transportation out of Quincy, IL. They have old-ass Mack trucks though, and after reading some reviews, the condition of the trailers leaves a lot to be desired. And because you have less than 6 months experience you'll have to go through their OTR training program. But, they might hire you; they hire SAP drivers. Let them know about your record upfront and hopefully they can give you an immediate answer.

Thank you for your recommendations! I’ll give them a shot to see which one is willing to give me a opportunity.

I know western express, tribe and I think sweet express, hire with criminal records. But it might be the speeding ticket that gets you hung up more right now.

With Western Express it depends on the criminal record. I watched them turn people down when I worked for them. They got them bus tickets and let them start orientation and 4 days in after more background checks, told them that weren't going forward and forced to find their own way home.

I see . My charge was for evading arrest W/ motor vehicle back in 2021. Ima see if they’ll even consider me .

I here CRST hires drivers with records. Don’t take my word for it though, you can research them.

They told me I needed a minimum of 6 months experience.
