Yeah. People seem to glaze over most of humanity’s want/need to connect with others. Sure there’s clinical misanthropes out there that don’t, but misanthropy is a symptom of a lot of mental illnesses that if treated, will be minimized.

I'm not afraid of being alone on an island. I am afraid of being alone on an island and having an abscessed tooth or broken leg. Some medical emergency that's going to lead to a slow, painful death.
