Didn't know he didn't have one already. About time then.

I was surprised he didn't already have one.

I met him once in the early 2000's. He came into the bar where I worked. Nice guy. Quiet.

Hollywood stars have to be bought; buying your own is tacky (but it happens). It an honour you can buy

Actually anyone can make a nomination, even fans, and the person nominated must have a minimum of five years experience in the category for which they are nominated. They also need to have a history of "charitable contributions". Dead nominees must have been deceased for at least five years. The person nominated or their management has to approve the nomination and pay the application fee of $275 (as of 2025). The nominees are then voted on by the Walk of Fame selection committee. Only 30 are picked each year. Nominations not selected are rolled over to the following year and ones that are not selected for two years are dropped and must be renominated to be reconsidered. So, not exactly "bought" as you so succinctly put it. The more you know, and knowing is half the battle.

it's not like it's hard to do. if he doesn't have one it's likely b/c he never applied before.
