Trying to decide between upgrading and replacing

Hey all, very inexperienced with building PCs, but the one my buddy built for me is definitely starting to struggle and can barely run any games or even chrome at times.
I am trying to decide between starting from scratch or upgrading my current. Or are any of these parts worth carrying over to a new build?
I really only use it for occasional streaming and low-end gaming (LoL, Hearthstone, WoW, etc.)

If you're still aiming for light-load gaming, you can keep the 1660 SUPER for that purpose. It's still a decent card for that purpose.
Otherwise, start over from scratch. If you're on a budget, aim for the AM4 series with a 5600X CPU and Peerless Assassin Cooler. If you decide to replace the GPU, aim for a 3060 Ti or 9060 XT.

Thanks, I figured it was a build from scratch type situation, wasn’t sure if the cooler or power supply would be worth carrying over

If the PSU is only a few years old, it should be capable so long as your wattage needs dont overwhelm it.
As for the cooler, if you have an AM4 bracket in the kit, you can use that to mount it to any AM4 motherboard and CPU.

There's basically nothing worth keeping in that system.

Definitely misread your comment so ignore my deleted response haha. Thanks!! That’s about what I expected. Was low budget when I built it so didn’t think things would last til now

Any suggestions to make it run better? I struggle to watch a YouTube video while having a game open
