would like to have a fiberglass FD body made or use the BRS kit or the BN blister kit and have a roof section made to use the overfenders from that kit as quarter panels. This would be going onto a tube chassis. Would like some input on this. Flaming is allowed, but would like some actual help.

It's ambitious but nothing about it sounds impossible even to a beginner. Fiberglass is bloody easy. And you can get really accurate 3d models of an FD rx7 to give you all the measurements you need and build a skeleton out of wood like those ribbed shark kits you used to get as a kid.
What are you doing for glass? sides and rear you can probably do polycarb but you might want a donor for a windshield, then that will determine your A-pillars and roof measurements.
People make full one off fiberglass bodies for drag cars all the time, this will be pretty much like that I'd imagine.

glass would be factory if possible, will be using carbon doors and hatch. possibly mounting it on an FC chassis instead of a tubular one since the wheelbases are very close. If this way doesn't work, I have been talking with a company in florida that makes drag bodies about making these. they are doing feasibility studies at the moment. they seem kinda interested from what I have gathered so far.

You need to develop the skill set to pull something like this off, along with a way to afford the parts, tools, shop, consumables, and materials.
You’re far too optimistic, and your unrealistic expectations are setting yourself up for failure and disappointment.
Find a reasonable vehicle that you can actually afford, and spend a few years honing your skills and knowledge before attempting a project of this scale.

i mean making the body by kinda "filling in the middle" using this BN sports blister kit as a replacement for half of the real body.

Am I crazy or do I remember seeing this exact image on the Driftworks forums back in the day.

Holy fuck it was. I can't remember shit from my 4 years at university but I can remember a picture from a build thread from 2012?
