In case you havent noticed, the trash making DC into a shithole warzone for decades aren't exactly the kind of people you want running around armed, whether or not they violated state laws that result in seizing said firearms is irrelevant when you consider the context of the mess they got going on in DC.. They have confiscated far more then 30 guns, and most of them were felons in possession, or had other aggravating charges like possession, intent to distribute, violent crimes, evading, assaulting officer, and a pretty sizable portion of those found in possession of firearms were minors, carrying guns while in the presence of several other criminals arrested for again felon in possession, drug charges,. gang activity.

If you think they are rounding up guns from innocent law abiding citizenry and not gang members, drug dealers, felons on parole, and literally kids as young as 13 carrying stolen pistols in their pants while posted up at known drug spots creating a disgusting and dangerous environment for everybody who is stuck living amongst it, then shit you must think these repeat offenders are well within their right to go toting stolen guns while menacing their own neighborhood. chances are most of those guns seized were used in more then one shooting or crime,

Ffs you need to visit DC where this is taking place, explore the neighborhoods some, give it an unbiased review when you admittedly gtfo as quick as you can once you realize how dangerous and ghetto it is,

Also if you arent black and currently have no racist thoughts, you might surprise yourself when you start seeing them as a threat to your life for simply existing in their neighborhoods. But dont feel bad, they feel the same fear you do simply existing in their own neighborhood.
