Always nice to a people resist occupation or oppression imposed from the outside right?
vladislav-turbanov@reddit
Yeah. Unfortunately, even now you have countries occupied by the West which are even forced to fight their neighbors in wars already lost.

Which alternate dimension are you from?

It's called Russia, where truth is only allowed to be spoken within your own home with people you trust. Anywhere else, the official lies must be promoted.

Russia.

How can you say this with a straight face when your dictator is still invading Ukraine for siding with Europe. You guys are all brainwashed into thinking invasions and dictatorships are ok
BufferUnderpants@reddit
That’s a very creative way of saying “imperialist neighbor asserting its sphere of influence through war”
MechaAristotle@reddit
I wasn't aware it was Ukraine who crossed the border into Russia, I must have missed that part.

Operators ? What do you mean by that ? I don't understand

Ok ! Feels like there's a story behind, would you care to elaborate ?

The quality of the shot of the country reunification on April 30 day event were really shoddy compared to the recent one here

Shocked by this title, so wrong:
it is a declaration of independance in 1945, and independance itself occured in 1954.
Officially September 2 is the commemoration of Ho Chi Minh READING the declaration of Independence.
Note the declaration took place in a power vacuum which didn't last: end of japanese occupation and french were not yet back. So followed indochina war (the real independance war)
1954: Geneva Conference after Indochina war is lost by French colonial forces. Vietnam is divided between north and sourth.
Immediately after, start of Vietnam war, which will last until 1975. We have also a holiday for "reunification day" also called sometimes "victory day".
