I said it before in another subreddit about the double standards with celibacy between men and women. Being celibate as a woman doesn’t necessarily mean it’s considered “cute” or acceptable to everyone. To a certain age, it’s considered weird. In some cases it doesn’t matter if you’re ugly or not, you’ll get either the desperate pigeonhole or the naïveté pigeonhole. People automatically think you’re religious even if you never express it. Once a guy especially an eager one finds out all he wants to talk about is When are y’all going to have sex?. Some are aggressive and just demand it even if you’re hardly talking to each other. Like not even in a,” we're hooking up” type of thing, “because you can make the argument that we're socializing”, I don't speak to you at all I hardly say hi. I never express sex towards you in the slightest.
