tried lamb brain in rome at Da Edy. ngl it was one of the strangest food experiences i’ve had. texture was soft and creamy kinda like scrambled eggs but richer. i was hesitant at first but after a bite it wasn’t as bad as i thought, just very different from what im used to. it was one of the few spots on the Main Street corsa that was filled with locals. if ur feeling adventurous in rome Da Edy is worth a try.

I had fried lamb brain at a Greek restaurant a few years ago. Never had it before and honestly not something I’d go for again. Just wasn’t for me I guess

Brains are great but I don’t eat them anymore. Prion diseases terrify me.

Scary part is, even if you haven’t eaten them for years prion disease symptoms take up to a decade of more to show, and when they do show they get pretty bad pretty quick.
Ticking time bomb in your brain 😵💫

lol yes It’s been long enough for me that I’m sure I’m safe but I’d be lying if the fear didn’t cross my mind “I had calf’s brains 25 years ago, am I safe…?”

Wrong sub. This is a great dish that has been plated poorly.

I think the Resident Evil lighting also deserves some credit here
