Finally grabbed a Glock 34 Gen 5 MOS. optic recommendations?

Picked up a 34 Gen 5 MOS and now I’m stuck in optic purgatory. I’m eyeing the Holosun SCS MOS since it mounts straight on without plates and supposedly gives a nice co-witness.
Anyone here running that setup? Would love to hear what you guys are rocking on your long-slide Glocks.

Holosun and Vortex Defender are going to be great for defending yourself in America, even in the rain. But go with Trijicon if you plan on shooting in battles that will take place in swamps, on frozen mountain peaks and/or within sandstorms.

New trigger, Apex or better, Faxon barrel, port the barrel and slide, add Holosun. Made it better like a Shadow Systems with fewer issues.

Trijicon RMR with a Radian Guardian is such a good combo to go with

OP, what are you going to actually be using this gun for?
If you're going to be a Chad who CCs a G34, the SCS would be an alright choice, but I don't like that the battery isn't user replaceable, and the brightness control is hard to press. Otherwise, a Holosun 507k or Vortex Defender CCW would be good choices.
If it's going to be a range toy/competition/home defense gun, 507 Comp or SRO.

Mostly for the range and joining a yearly local competition. But, gotta admit, I like the idea of being a Chad who CCs a G34.
Leaning toward the 507 Comp. Thanks!

Change the mounting screws before you add anything. The OEM screws are soft as butter and I often need to extract the broken screws from the slide from normal operation.
Aside from that, RMR if you got money, Holosun 407/507 if you’re ballin’ on a budget

Holosun 407/507 is better than the holosun scs mos? was thinking no plate was better

I got an SRO and a Glock performance trigger for my G34.5 and it's an awesome combo!

Shield RMS or Holosun 507K/407 is the only footprint I would trust. You will have to get an adapter plate but it's worth it https://www.shieldsights.com/product-category/mounts/adapters-extras
Those mounting bosses act as recoil lugs and is the most secure mount short of a direct mill.
On the MOS plates, for most optics you only get a few threads of engagement.
