Don't have anything useful to say I was just bored a few weeks ago and decided to make a little video. A bit surprised to see some people out and about downtown on a Tuesday of all days.

I liked how peaceful and quiet this one was as it was a Tuesday night. I want a more upbeat one of like a weekend night. Might go this weekend and recreate it

Sorry not familiar, what is that’?
ThisIsMockingjay2020@reddit
It's a sub all about pictures taken at night, that show the peace of the night and the ambience.
It's a pretty cool sub, actually.

Not familiar, is that a subreddit?

Hardly time haha but thank you

Love the blue fountains at 30sec; and that red MG at the end.
SkyScreech@reddit (OP)
Don’t see MGs very often :) always cool to see one

A Dallas icon!

Wait, you went downtown and did not automatically get murdered? I keep hearing about how dangerous it is down here. /s
SkyScreech@reddit (OP)
I’ll admit a lot of people could use thicker skin. I’ve done street photography for years, I’m used to chatting it up with anyone from cops to corporate workers to the homeless community
Any_Garbage2598@reddit
This gave me early 2000s vibes for some reason. It was cozy. Also, song?
SkyScreech@reddit (OP)
If I had more time I’d add a stylized early 2000s look to it. Retro nostalgia type of thing
Song is Opal by ELEZO

Some of them shots could have use a gimbal. What camera you shooting with?
SkyScreech@reddit (OP)
Yea you’d think I’d have a gimbal with how much I like photography/videography
This was with a Canon EOS Rebel T5. Nothing crazy

Edgefield bridge?
SkyScreech@reddit (OP)
Yes. There was a fire in one of the oak cliff grasses just to my right

We have good looking and vibrant cities between Dallas and Fort Worth…no matter what the NIMBYs believe as commanded to them by their megachurch grifter pastors
suburbanista@reddit
NIMBYs aren't mindless drones being controlled by pastors. They are free-thinking patriots liberated from walkability dogma, with eyes fully open to the harms of what happens when a society has access to public transit and isn't required to drive.
OP's video clearly shows the Dallas Streetcar shamelessly operating in what used to be a Christian city. If you don't see a problem with this, you're beyond saving, but hopefully your loved ones can escape to Celina before it's too late.
PantherCityRes@reddit
They have already baptized 289 all the way to Southmayd. Drove all the way up to Gunter the other day only to find it called “Preston Road.”
