New bike day - light weights

New his (Velotric T1 ST Plus) and hers (Aventon Soltera 2.5). We've had the Aventon a couple weeks but the Velotric is newly assembled so we headed to the park for some break in rides. So far I'm really happy with the results. I had some serious range anxiety based on reviews but I'm getting about 50 miles per charge staying mostly in Boost 1. The hills are a bit of work but nothing unexpected. My only complained so far is with the rear rack. The lead bolt near the seat stem stripped out with almost no torque and it's a little off center even after a lot of fiddling. Most likely I'll end up taking it off after I get a new saddle bag and actual bottle brackets come in.
If anyone has questions about or comparing these two particular bikes I'll do my best to help.
Configured as shown, Velotric 47.8lbs, Soltera 46.2 lbs.

Hi! I have the velotric t1 st plus and am in the market for a rear rack. Was just curious if you had to buy the velotric branded one or if you found a different brand rack fit the bike

Nice lightweight combo. Good to see ebikes that neither fold nor have fat tires.

Fat tire would save my ass bones a bit but I do agree. I don't really like the 100lb monstrosities masquerading as e-bikes.

Love my T1ST+. I’ve had it for about a year now and it a nice bike if you want to give your legs a little break but still put some work in. My regular bike (State 4130 All Road) is getting a carbon fork installed so I’m without for the next couple days and took this out for a quick 15 mile ride this morning. Not the same intensity but still better than sitting and doing nothing. Eco/PAS 1 does just enough to negate the weight of the bike so I’ll usually ride on that 99% of the time but it is fun to switch over to Boost PAS 5 and zip around.

Nice, that looks good. I came really close to ordering sand color.
We both have analog bikes as well but we wanted something to ease hill climbs and feel a little younger so we went with fitness e-bikes. These both seem to fit the bill pretty well. I'll probably see if I can drop some weight from it in the next few weeks since it's right up in the top-end of what I want to haul around. I'm technically already overloading a Class 1 hitch with both of these on there so it makes me nervous.
