Changing too many CFIs

Will it look bad on my log book if I changed CFI too many times? I’m a PPL student and I have had 3 CFIs already.

That is not going to even be a thing.

I've got 350 TT, CFI, CFII, MEI. On that journey I've flown with 27 instructors and 5 different DPEs. No one has ever even asked about it. Learn from everyone, no one cares!

Come over to my flying club and we can get you paired up with 20 or so more 😭

Always wondered about this too since I'm in an area that doesn't have too many training options available. And then there's the money thing too. Especially since I might have to "pay as I go".

I'd suggest that you want to fly with a few different instructors as each one will have a different style and you'll learn more b
VileInventor@reddit
this is bad advice for a beginning student
iamtheav8r@reddit
I didn't suggest it was good for a beginner and the original poster didn't say they were a beginning student they just said they are a PPL student. They could have 35 hours for all you know.
VileInventor@reddit
35 hours is still a beginner.

Always someone like you offering your expertise even though you're not an expert.

Is anyone?

It will not

No, but make sure they don't change them out again right before you do your check ride. I did almost every PPL flight with the same instructor. He left to go to the airlines, I flew with a different guy once, he left to go to the airlines, then I finally got a third guy before my check ride.
Turns out nobody taught me how a check ride works -- the second and third instructors assumed my first instructor taught me, and I wrongly assumed I could just trust the process. Didn't have the money ready, didn't have the maintenance logs ready, was missing paper copies of other important stuff. Was very fortunate that the weather wasn't great that day -- examiner saw that I knew my stuff, but he suggested we discontinue the oral so he could have a chat with my instructor since we couldn't fly anyway. Not sure what he put in IACRA now that I think about it.

No, pretty sure no one cares.

1000% No. I learned so much by having about 5 CFIs in the rotation for PPL.
I probably would’ve struggled less with instrument if I had more than one CFII.
always_gone@reddit
No one will care how many CFIs you’ve had, not one person has ever looked at the signature column in my logbook beyond a DPE looking to see the required training was signed off by a CFI.
Something to consider is why you are changing CFIs. If they’re leaving for the next job, that’s normal. However, if you are finding that “all the CFIs are bad” and “incompatible” at a certain point it’s time to look at the common denominator. I say that as a CFI that has seen students with a high number of CFIs because the CFIs dropped the students for personality issues (ie not being teachable, extreme over confidence, and various other issues that are very hazardous in aviation).

No one cares. But your wallet might. It takes time and money to switch instructors.
MadeForThisOnePostt@reddit
With that many changes, you’ll be lucky to even get an Ariel survey job :(
Secure-Prompt-2091@reddit (OP)
Would you mind telling me why?
VileInventor@reddit
he’s fucking with you
MadeForThisOnePostt@reddit
Lol I’m joking bro, no one cares at all. Actually it’s probably better because you get different perspectives !
It took me 3 instructors to realize I was too short to see over the cowling and needed a cushion ! You’re good man
goodatgettingbanned@reddit
I’d survey Ariel, but I’m not into redheads…. Or cartoons.
