Beach surf town vibes

Hi I am looking to travel for about a month, I am looking to very similar place to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica - a lot of travelers, little beach town, cute cafes, beach bars, breakfast spots, very laid back, surfer town vibes. I am happy to travel anywhere - Bali, Thailand or Costa Rica, Mexico etc. Just wanting to find somewhere to relax and heal my fatigue. Thank you

Bali is extremely overrated and overpriced, but I heard a lot of other islands in Indonesia are nice as long as you're adaptable, can pick up a little bahasa etc.

Santa Catalina - Panama… Panama perhaps not known for being “cheap”, but, it can be done.

Mazunte. Or Puerto Escondido if you like it a bit more bustling.

San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua
Probably a little more rustic than you're looking for, but still a cool spot in itself. Also a lot of little tiny beaches not far away from it that are surfable & secluded...

I second this recommendation

Yes SJDS is great place!

Puerto Viejo CR. Far less commercially developed than Santa Teresa. Very chill, very laid-back, Caribbean vibes. Less California, more Jamaica

San Adres, Colombia. Just do it, you will not regret it.
