Gift idea for CFI

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I want some fresh input on a gift idea for my CFI. I know I'm paying him, I know some might think its weird, but he's a really nice guy and he's worked really hard to get me checkride ready. I'd really like to get him something in the $100 range as a gift to thank him for all the hard work he's put in to get me here.
We're flying to Kansas in a few days for my checkride, so I'll most likely give it to him after I pass.

A charger and rechargeable batteries for his headset if he doesn't already have them. And/or maybe a travel mug for coffee if he drinks that, or vacuum insulated water bottle if he drinks a lot of water.
Can't go wrong with alcohol of course, if he drinks.

A nice bottle of the instructor's favorite liquor has been my go-to. If they don't drink it becomes tricky though.
But from my students, I don't expect (or want) anything. A card would be nice. If they do their homework and show up prepared for the lesson that would be the very best thing they could give me.

Pass your checkride and be thankful, maybe a card (really not necessary) is all they ever want.
I did however have one affluent student gift me a yeti mug that I still fly with 5 years later, that was pretty sweet.

"More Right Rudder" on a custom sweatshirt.

Pass your checkride and then give your CFI a gift card - let him decide.

Honestly, more right rudder is all the gift we tend to want from students.

Funnily enough, thats NEVER been an issue for me. Its MORE FLAIR

Get him saltine crackers & Ramen, hes probably amazing at rationing by now and should last him a few months.
Now $100 bucks of ramen & crackers? Man's going to eat forever

Hopefully you know him better than us- I’m getting mine a nice bottle of whiskey, a funny shirt/stickers, and gonna try to get him to come out into the woods to do something with me (my job has been guiding fly fishing, whitewater, and pack trips for years before flying) so I figured I’d pay him back a bit that way.
