Hello, I am 16 years old and freshly got my restricted my car blower was out for the AC and was quoted 2300 to get it fixed. I drive from the Taco Bell drive-through and as I’m getting my Cantina chicken, Chalupa’s, my AC turns on and consistently turns on because before it would turn on and off and keep trying to start up I drive a 2013 Volvo S 60 if that helps anybody I don’t really know if it would. I’m assuming this isn’t a permanent fix, but I just want some explanations on maybe why and if I actually do need to get it fixed still thank you.

It probably didnt realy fix itself bro. blower motors and electrical issues can act up randomly but they usualy come back. Id still have a shop check it out before it leaves you stuck again. Tbh since repairs like that can get pricey fast, some people also use vehicle service contract providers that offers protection plans for repairs like CarShield so big fixes dont hit their wallet all at once

If you are referring to your AC compressor intermittently starting/not starting... Have you checked your refrigerant level? If there's not enough pressure the compressor will not engage. Pressure can vary by ambient temperature so depending on how hot or cold it is it may or not have enough pressure in the system to engage the compressor.
