I have the standard TX22 which I've had for years and love it. It comes with a threaded barrel. I know everybody needs a FRT/binary trigger, red dots, lightning cuts etc before the groupthink says its okay to consider buying, but they're great guns.

FYI, the FRT is on the sea. Don't spend 125$ on it, and if you really want it out of stainless steel, upload the file to sendcutsend. Mags and badass speed loader files are out as well.

I’ve had a tx22 compact for like a year. Literally printed and installed the frt today and took it to the range. It worked and I only have 2 10 round mags for it. Instead of just buying some more mags, I bought this deal right after I got home from the range. Figured if I’m gong to buy more mags, may as well just get this deal and basically get the gun dot for less than a couple hundred more than I would have spent on just the mags lol. The frt definitely works even being printed. Crazy they’re charging what tbey are for the metal frts

Send cut send is a fantastic company - their material upcharge for large parts is a little more than I would like, but they really excel at small parts. I've used them many times for other projects. They also (usually) ship wayyyyy faster than their estimate!

Well you can preorder now. Their own site says they will have them out in up to 30 days. So less than 30 i am hoping. I would find it hard to believe that KY Gun Co would sell a preorder before they sourced inventory. Especially at a sale price. It wouldn’t make sense for them to sell, otherwise. Supplier would jack up price and then they would have to either cancel orders or fulfill at a loss.

I get it, but its a 22lr polymer pistol, you can lightly fan your finger and shoot 75% as fast. My last 10/22 build I looked into the Franklin binary-triggers that were the hotness. $500 and 90% of the reviews said "fun to mag-dump but the single-shot trigger is pretty gritty and hard to break" etc. I went with an $80 Kidd trigger and have had no issues. I just don't get the allure of running out to drop $350+ for a gun solely because you can buy a part to make it essentially automatic.

Whats the difference between firing 40gr pills at paper at 500 rounds per minute versus 1500? I have various NFA-restricted items, never once had a problem or thought "this is boring". I don't get these shooters that won't shoot a gun/caliber unless they have some fancy trigger pack etc.

If you have a FFL you can also use it to buy/transfer for personal use but I think there is a limit % wise on it to keep people from having FFL's just for personal use..
