I'm in a flying club and pay about $80/hr for a 172 and $100/hr for a 182. I never fly either one, but it's quite affordable.

Suffering currently with 235 for a c172 wet and 90 for the instructor.

$80 for instruction, per hour.
$140 for aircraft rental, per hour.
$320 per hour, including tax. My school was only paying about $35 per hour for fuel, and $25 per hour to the instructors.

Instructor was $50-$70 depending on the instructor. A bunch of times there was no charge for instructor.

And I ask for a rate similar to many area schools.
(FYI to folks in area, I have spots open for PPL, IFR and CPL)
