First time at this Hyatt and was delighted to see this when I opened the window.

Some real geek ish.

What hotel and damn? I'll be going there
honster02@reddit
Hyatt Lake Washington. Absolutely beautiful!

Does anyone know the logo on the winglet? I can't seem to pinpoint it.
HVLP@reddit
A Jet
groove502@reddit (OP)
Lol I thought you were being facetious, but right on! Ty!
HVLP@reddit
I've never heard of them either. I looked up the line number on PlaneSpotters and it wasn't there, so I scrolled through and looked at pictures of 737 customers and found it
Weet-Bix54@reddit
Btw, I’m pretty sure airfleets does a better job with line numbers, idk though in this situation but in general I’ve found them to be better
Met76@reddit
Yeah but pictures (although not nearly as many unless you search JetPhotos or Airliners and you don't get tail history on those)
Ilove_gaming456@reddit
Ok, but what jet specifically?
DjQball@reddit
That one.
747ER@reddit
I thought it was the Air Europa logo at a quick glance. I still think of them as AnadoluJet; Ajet seemed like a weird marketing decision.

View from the adjacent playground. Can walk dockside and right up to secured gate.

I remember before the hotel was here. Used to walk out there for smoke breaks. Back when I worked grave yards used to go out and talk to alot of the hotel guests before they shut that gate down to us. Chatting with pilots about flying and production fun fact at peak capacity we produced 52 737 max 8s per month.
Every night guest would come out from the hotel and watch us push out 2-3 airplanes and shuffle the ramp.
groove502@reddit (OP)
Wow that's really cool!
whatsamatta-U-grad@reddit
Me jealous.
Lock-e-d@reddit
I needed this, sometimes I forget how cool it is to work here. Glad you guys enjoy it.
danit0ba94@reddit
Me so jealoooouus.
DynamiteWitLaserBeam@reddit
Me jealous long time
danit0ba94@reddit

luvsads@reddit
Completely unrelated, go to Kidd Valley at the beach right there and get a mf milkshake
Muchablat@reddit
Second this!
Sarzo66@reddit
I live about 1 mile from that hotel. Walk my dogs by there every morning…..amazing when they fire up those 737’s for the 1st time.
Muchablat@reddit
Mmmmm. Smokey.

Tip, you can bring or rent a kayak/sup at the rowing center and go right up to the back of the site on water.
They did probably 100s of millions of pier work to turn the lakeside into fully powered production stalls. There's not even really a fence and you can get up quite close to the planes. Seems like it would be more of attraction for out of town aviation lovers, but most people dont seem to know.
The trail from the park there also takes you right next to the production stalls with no fence (24/7 security guard). They even do full power engine runs probably 50 feet away from where you can stand and watch. Again, you think that might be an attraction. Anywhere else you can't get within a mile of a plane doing a test run.
Maleficent-Cheek-611@reddit
Hell yeah
bergler82@reddit
huh would you look at that, a 60 year old airplane.
A_Guest17@reddit
yet very different compared to its 60 year old counterparts
BoringBob84@reddit
I could not imagine being so miserable that I would find something to complain about in every situation, no matter how fascinating it is.
I mean, would you look at that - there are clouds in the sky. Life is so terrible! /sarcasm
Sarzo66@reddit
Downtown Renton…most afternoons
Sarzo66@reddit
Little seen by non-residents. 737 body rolling through downtown Renton
Jet-Rep@reddit
I have a lot of good memories from working there - very neat place
kWarExtreme@reddit
I'm in Portland, and I am hoping we get to go take a tour there soon. If we don't, I am half tempted to just go up on a Saturday and walk around. My understanding is that I'm allowed on any NW property with my badge.
dedgecko@reddit
Should be no different than any other badge reader if you know what I mean.
FarButterscotch4280@reddit
Maybe won't get access through a rotor-gate. might have to go to the badge room.
dedgecko@reddit
I’ll never understand stand why Boeing sold all that land. And there’s a few more properties that have become major eye sores down in Renton.
FMC_Speed@reddit
This is extremely cool, try to the registration of the plane (if any) it would be cool to see it flying somewhere
groove502@reddit (OP)
Not familiar with manufacturing and if the number 9351 on the hull means anything.
FarButterscotch4280@reddit
Line number. Shows you where its at, or where it should be in the production line.
Mimicewoo@reddit
Whoa, A Jet :0
Karrot-guy@reddit
tickets booked
Sivalon@reddit
They’re doing final assembly outside?
AccountNumber0004@reddit
It’s inside a giant hangar. I’m guessing the doors were open since summer is super nice in the PNW and OP just zoomed in.
groove502@reddit (OP)
Exactly. Morning view, half closed.
Alaska_Flyer@reddit
That's a really nice Hyatt! It is fun to see the planes getting built and the lake view is awesome.
Negative-Pin6676@reddit
Wow
X-Bones_21@reddit
Take one of their planes for a joyride.
Airwolfhelicopter@reddit
Reverse image search doesn’t work, it gave me Allegiant Air and Avianca, but it’s neither of those
Monster_Voice@reddit
Do they charge extra for that view?! That's so cool! I would feel like a little kid with a view like that.
Amonamission@reddit
Look at that jet, it’s like they’re practically begging someone to steal it!
dynabella@reddit
That's so cool! I would love to stay there.
HolyGroove@reddit
Hyatt at Lake Washington! We were there for a wedding recently. A nice property with great views
FarButterscotch4280@reddit
Rosies Diner in the Center Tower. Yumm!. Well maybe not.
