Have you read the side story manga? If not i wholly recommend it, i'd say thay surpasses the main series in quality. It's about goblinslayers journey from a low rank adventure to a high rank adventure. You get to see him gain and accumulate the goblin killing wisdom that you later see in the series.

Rape is one of the worst things we, as humans, can think of. Debatably it might even be worse than murder because the victim then lives on with the mental trauma.

As a result, rape is the perfect tool to use in a story for completely irredeemably evil monsters terrorising humanity.

The whole point of Goblin Slayer is that most adventurers don’t even think of goblins as a threat and ignore them to focus on the big bad demon lord, but in reality these tiny creatures are actually worse because of the heinous nature of their attacks.
