A sad day. RIP.
FMC_Speed@reddit
He’s my age
RIP
th3orist@reddit
I wonder why he did not eject? Sure he must have realized with his knowledge there was no way he could save the plane from crashing.
orgpekoe2@reddit
Does anyone suspect him losing consciousness? It looked like high G’s in my non expert view
Guevorkyan@reddit
Guy was still pulling Gs upon impact. No G-LOC there.
Fidel_Cashflow666@reddit
People were floating G-LOC as the culprit in the original video posted here

from the video i've gathered not enough time.

Thanks for making this poster. 🙏
RIP slab. 🥺
Logical-Ad8617@reddit
I met him at an airshow in Albert, France last week he was awesome and nice, loved his flying, they had a booth for the Polish Tigers and a Polish C130 too. Breaks my heart to lose him 😢
dj_vicious@reddit
RIP. He wasn't that old (I'm a year younger so I think we're all kids still).
Fresh_Landscape616@reddit
I take solace knowing that he died doing what he loved the most and he left this planet a better place.
foxtrot3dp@reddit (OP)
it's really sad, but at least he built a great legacy
trulycantbearsed@reddit
How did he earn the name ‘Slab’ and what does it mean?
Conner0929001@reddit
It’s been an honor for you to make a poster for “Slab.”

Tasteless karma seeking.

I don't use the deaths of others to jump on the RIP bandwagon.
foxtrot3dp@reddit (OP)
RIP bandwagon? i am using my time to create something in memory of a hero of my country.
PDXGuy33333@reddit
Alright. Fine. I will delete my criticism. Sorry for your deeply felt loss.
sapperwho@reddit
I ve never seen any airshow where aircraft were doing loops with afterburner …wonder why he did it…any particular reason? Its not that he was trying to pull up. In the video he clearly had afterburner on at the top of the loop.
CptBartender@reddit
That's what was on my armchair pylote mind all day, but from what I've read from actual pilots' comments, there are certain parameters where you need the afterburner to negate the extra drag at high AOA, resulting in overall tighter loop.
Highly unintuitive - been thinking about it all day and even made some simulations in DCS.
RetaRedded@reddit
A huge loss for the aviation world, a tragedy for family and friends and a significant loss for Poland defense capabilities.
Blue Sky, Major.
CptJFK@reddit
Damn... Even younger than me. Thoughts go out.
timothypjr@reddit
RIP. That was horrific.
kenva86@reddit
What sad sad sad news! Have a good for ever flight Major!
Gunfighter0611@reddit
Do we know which tail he was flying? 4052?
foxtrot3dp@reddit (OP)
i've heard that it is 4056
7stroke@reddit
Unfortunate call sign

not appropriate in this situation, sorry
MirceaPhoto690@reddit
Fly high and rest easy! I hope the Red Arrows will be able to depart from Radom ASAP to reach for BIAS 2025, which I think it might not happen..
TheMilkmanGames@reddit
It's tragic but why is this getting so much attention? Was he popular on reddit or something? I feel like I'm missing something
MerDeNomsX@reddit
He was the crowd award winner at RIAT this year. Poland also has a lot of pride in their heroes. We were born 3 months apart and 3 towns over
GeneratedUserHandle@reddit
He went to the US Air Force Academy and did pilot training in the US. A lot of us knew him.
foxtrot3dp@reddit (OP)
he was poland's best display pilot, and he was well known amongst airshow enthusiasts, winning the crowd award at RIAT 25
TheMilkmanGames@reddit
That makes sense, as well as your follow up comment. Very sad stuff
foxtrot3dp@reddit (OP)
for me personally it is about representing my country
