How is The Odin Project?

I'm thinking of learning full stack development from the odin project, cause it has structured lesson with plenty of projects...is it good option in 2025? or should I learn from tutorials available on YouTube??

OH yes! It is perfect because:
- It does NOT let you fall into tutorial hell.
- The community is amazing, ask questions and you will get answers that will take you forward!
- It is project-based. You will build projects that will help you build a portfolio and grow yourself.
- It is PROVEN. Join their discord and see all the people that learnt how to dev and got a job using the odin project.
It is also how i learnt almost everything I know, feel free to ask any detailed questions

What about freecodecamp

I think it's cool but something project-based and hands-on learning like odin is miles better

Hey mate!! Thanks for answering my question!! See I'm a beginner, I don't have any prior experience in coding..I was confused about other resources and the odin project but the way you answered my question, now I'll learn from the odin project.
You told me you also learned from the odin project!! What are the difficulties you faced when you started it? How much time you dedicate daily?
SeaOk6822@reddit
I dedicated 3 hours a day. No excuses. 3 hours. EVERY DAY.
Difficulties: I thought that i won't be able to do it at least 10 times, thought stopping and never starting again at least 2 times.
Do not give up, just study and tackle new problems every day. I mean literally every day.

I’m almost done with it and it’s probably the best thing I could have done. If you have any questions feel free to ask

Thanks for answering my question!!
I've read it doesn't do hand holding which is good, but as a beginner how did you do it? Did you also learn from other resources? And whenever you got stuck did you ask AI to understand that particular concept? Or you asked a question in their discord community?
