I have a Sony WiFi headphone 1000xm3 with charging port issue and a CD player issue (can't read disc) from a music system..
Instead of simply dumb them and get a new one.. I wonder if there is any tech I can look for help with reasonable man hours..
Made a search .. on fb and Google map.. most of them focus on pc/laptop/tablet and related gadgets

Should be a doddle to do, I thought you’d have to solder a new usb c port onto the board (you can if you want as they’re available), but just buying it seems a lot less agro

There is a repair cafe in Wolverton at the bath house one Sunday each month, I have seen posts about them fixing microwaves and things

It's called "the men in sheds" and they are there(enter from lidless road) every second Saturday starting back in September. They also do work shops elsewhere in Mk and all is listed on their Facebook page Good luck
