Has anyone had laser eye surgery? How was it and who did you go with?

Late to this but I had LASEK (the one that makes people kill themselves apparently) just before Christmas. Surreal experience but only 30 seconds per eye and no pain. I had it done in Manchester but live in Sheffield. Eyes a little dry at night/mornings but goes away with eye drops and always improving. I'm already taking it for granted that I can see.
