Both gas operated, 1301 has the BLink system which cycles faster that the A300, but I’ve yet to see anyone outrun the A300. The BLink also allows you to cycle lower velocity shells (e.i, birdshot). So if you plan on shooting birdshot very fast then definitely the 1301, but for the other 95% of the time the A300 is more than enough IMO.

No disagreement on outrunning the 300 for "daily driving," but I notice shorter splits with the 1301. I can't say I've "outrun" it, but my splits are measurably shorter on the 1301.

This is a very specific use-case, and wouldn't affect 99% of shooters, and shouldn't dissuade anyone from getting the A300. It's a fantastic, reliable semi. But the 1301 is faster, for me, in comps.

Again, not critiquing your comment, just giving an example of where the 1301 might be "better" for some.
