Dumping on other fans is way more ick than making fan work that is "cringe".

I find something like 95% of "fan edits" where people combo video clips + a song intolerable, even if I love the show.

BUT

I love how happy they seem to make certain fans. I'll mute it and scroll down to read the comments.

You're in a fandom reddit, you're free to keep scrolling if you don't like a specific fan work. Fan art is definitely not for everyone. The classic fandom golden rule is "Don't like, don't read." I highly recommend it.
