How common is it for students unable to pay their insurmountable student loans to transfer to the cheapest community college in their state in order to self-pay for the minimum 6 credit-hours / semester needed to defer their loans? How long is the longest they can keep deferring loans this way?

Is there a world record holder for the longest time continuously enrolled in college? And is the reason due to needing to continue to defer student loans by taking the minimum 6 credit-hours per semester to be eligible for continued deferment?

What can you tell me about anyone who has continued to take classes "just to take classes" in order to continue deferring the student loans by taking the minimum 6 credit-hours needed to do so? How large was their bill? How long did this continue? Did they find a big break that would finally be able to better take care of those loans? (Something as miraculous as a lottery win? TV acting gig? Permanently immigrating to a country with free tuition? Etc.?) What happened in the end?
