This is our first inhouse product, this is machined from 17-4PH tool steel and heat treated. I am in the final week of testing and its time to get some presales or interest. first 100 will get $50 off and it will ship Sept 30th. Read the description in the website for releases. I think i have alot of good Vouches. THIS IS A FUNDING FOR THE PROJECT Next will be MP5, AK, Stribog. My aim is to keep your factory lower and parts Made in the USA
abrokemexican@reddit
In for one. This will still probably beat Atrius delivering mine.
Ketchupkid91@reddit
Did you receive an update on your order? The site isn’t showing the product anymore
abrokemexican@reddit
Yes, he sends updates every two weeks or so. I think the packages were shipped out a month ago, but it got delivered to my old apartment even though I asked for it to be delivered to another address.
WoozyKinkajou@reddit
Any updates on this product? The store page still only shows a cad model. No pictures and test videos.
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Coming soon once the final product arrives sept 26
victor32179@reddit
So can it be assumed the 3D model is what the actual product will look like? The lack of finishing compared to others is a little concerning but I think it would help if you had some samples of production products. Even if it’s out of a different steel.
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
It will be sexier, i want to have it black oxide finish and will be tumbled aswell so the sharps are gone.
I after next week i should be able to put up finish product photos
victor32179@reddit
Checking to see if you have any updates
BogChamp08@reddit
Damn, wish I could support at this time. If for no other reason than to fund your work on an mp5k version.
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Appreciate it man, im trying to get the freedom spread !!!!!!
Entire_Routine_3621@reddit
Is the lever going to be beefier than the atrius? Looks like the ASD cam with an Atrius lever. How similar to Atrius is it? I have one so it would be helpful before I preorder to know what triggers work, if the same as Atrius then that would be helpful to know. I know ASD works with all triggers so long as they are cut for SuperSafe and Atrius works with most mil spec and milspec adjacent with some dremel work.
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Hey, so your right its a little bit from all the designs. The focus was to try and make this run on all triggers without modification needed. So far we are mil spec, POF, triggertech, timney, Rise tested as thats what i have to hand at moment.
LengthinessOwn5224@reddit
Tried it on any 2-stage triggers? G$/WMD/etc?
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
not yet, its a common question so i ordered a G$ 2 stage. My only concern is the 2 stage is designed more for DMR shooting and has an extra procedure to release the disconnect. i may need some time on the 2 stage for a possible solutions
kkidfall@reddit
This based off the one that was posted on the sea and then modified?
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Yea kinda, i have a few models in house, the Sea had one modeled aswell.
kkidfall@reddit
ah ok. yea i got the one on the sea but needs to be refined some.
Airbus320Driver@reddit
Already got burned by Atrius taking orders for parts that they didn’t have.
I hope the project goes well, but this “pay now, receive in five weeks” business model has been soured y other manufacturers.
Entire_Routine_3621@reddit
I’m just waiting for the ASD safety. I know they spent a lot of time testing with platforms and at the same price they have my money. This should be 1-150 max considering new manufacturer, no track record with super safety development and nothing even prod ready yet. Just my opinion. ASD also comes with a trigger, the lever is much nicer, it’s timed properly unlike the atrius and who know about this, and is compatible with all super safety compatible triggers unlike atrius and this which is basically “we don’t have time to test in between selling a product we may or may not ship this year”. Hopefully better luck than atrius shipping to people. Too many unknowns to spend top dollar for a preorder.
Airbus320Driver@reddit
Yeah I just signed up for the ASD “notify me” option on their website.
abrokemexican@reddit
I’m approaching month 3 of it not being shipped from Atrius. They have so much time to make reels and accept more orders, but can’t ship ones already paid for.
Airbus320Driver@reddit
I ordered two from Atrius on launch day. Got tired of waiting and had Amex reverse the charge after not getting any response from customer service. Oh well…
Entire_Routine_3621@reddit
My launch day order was here a couple months ago so not sure how they managed to screw up this badly with so many people. I wouldn’t support them again. Maybe if they get caught up and can actually ship what they are selling. No more preorders with sketchy companies.
abrokemexican@reddit
I ordered one bc I shot my buddy’s and loved it. I was excited to get mine hopefully within two months, but that was wishful thinking. Then they go and bash people in their posts for canceling orders.
Airbus320Driver@reddit
Did they really??
abrokemexican@reddit
At least twice a week they bash customers for canceling orders on their IG stories. Either directly or via a meme.
getoffmylawnazz@reddit
I got a tracking number midday 8/23. Did you check? Who knows if it will actually ship and time soon.
abrokemexican@reddit
I got it at like 10PM on 8/23. Still shows that it hasn’t been received by USPS tho so tbd.
getoffmylawnazz@reddit
I’m thinking the 4000 plus waiting all just got tracking numbers with no product.
abrokemexican@reddit
I’m 87XX for order number.
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
I hear you, i am in the same boat. I got fed up of waiting and wanted to get a better product out there if i can
feeCboy@reddit
So is this a crowd source? Or is there a product already tested and tried, and this is just lead time and fronting production costs.
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Lead time for production runs, ive been running - 7075 version and waiting on the 17-4 to be heat treated for testing. Going to try and break it.
feeCboy@reddit
I’ve had a similar experience with other manufacturers/sellers. Waiting on the ASDesigns ARC. For the same cost, they have proof of concept at least and history of fulfilling orders and publishing a status weekly (even if the status is “no change”).
Starting to become skeptical of the “trust me, bro” products.
ReleaseFatDookie69@reddit
how’s this different from the atrius one? I’ve heard the normal safety selector design does not work very well
ShatterPoints@reddit
It looks the same. This video explains exactly what the issue is and how to fix the atrius.
https://youtu.be/b2PO44uzhyU
bacchusgme@reddit
u/contactfront8650 trust you guys are aware of this and accounted for?
nope_noway_@reddit
Looks like a Atrius knockoff
ztactical_@reddit
Yeah I'm not giving you a $200 loan for 5 weeks. Why don't you sell smaller lots of products you have on hand until you can scale
hitemlow@reddit
Will this work with the LaRue MBT-2?
Entire_Routine_3621@reddit
If it’s like the atrius you will need to shave the rear of the trigger as it’s too high.
thegoodsherpa@reddit
Will this work with a Larue or Geissele?
Entire_Routine_3621@reddit
G probably but lever may go under hammer. Larue yes but will need to trim the rear of trigger, same triggers will work with this as the Atrius.
BigLog-69-420@reddit
Op can you answer this
feeCboy@reddit
He did in another one, and then I guess deleted his post. He said no, as of right now, due to no testing.
Error_506@reddit
Can’t wait for the Stribog version, would it work in a Lingle lower as well?
muffinman1604@reddit
ASD will have stribog super safety lowers
Error_506@reddit
I saw, but it’s the typical push fashion SS rather than the “mil-spec” selector which I would much prefer
muffinman1604@reddit
Their arc trigger will work in it too
Error_506@reddit
That’s a good point, at $1k total to get it running seems close to insane however. I hope they’d sell one with the ARC pre installed for a slight premium.
muffinman1604@reddit
Their mp5 lowers have a $50 upgrade to the arc so I imagine after release that will trickle to all their lowers.
Error_506@reddit
Thanks for the info that’s good to know.
acb1499@reddit
Atrius already fucked up this business model, just sell it once you have stock. If you’re able to release this before Atrius’s ambi selector it definitely will sell considering Atrius is still behind on orders from May or something.
StylesBitchley@reddit
I think this is the first time i have heard 17-4 PH called "tool steel".
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Yea i kinda fucked up in the description. I was running tool steel 4140 but it failed. Last minute jump to 17-4
StylesBitchley@reddit
No worries glad to see this product out there. Just wondering, what problems did you have with 4140? BTW that is typically not in the "tool steel" category either.
The only concerns I've ever had with hardened 17-4 is that it being thru-hardened it doesn't have the toughness or shock resistance of some other materials that may be case hardened like 8620 or something. Great alloy though, no quench required!
Looking forward to your product being released!
Berry_Micockiner@reddit
I want this
Eklypto__@reddit
Maybe this is a dumb question but I’m somewhat new to this whole realm. Is this essentially halfway between the Delta Force FRT and a printable super safety? This has the 3 position selector AND the ability to keep my trigger? I have a Larue MBT and I love it so the FRT isn’t on my list for that reason. I’ve been looking into super safeties and the one thing that I’m wary about is the lack of the throw safety only because it’s what I’ve trained with and my muscle memory is used to.
Mahlegos@reddit
I was worried about the cross bar safety on the super safety, but it’s really not bad. I bought a clearance Anderson lower and just built out a super safe lower to swap around for fun. Might be something for you to look into to try it out.
HauntedHotsauce@reddit
I thought the Anderson lowers were high shelf according to that one reddit post with the list
hitemlow@reddit
Most lowers sold are low-shelf. Colt and Hi-Point are the most notable high-shelf lowers. The good brands make the lower "mil-spec" (sometimes labeled "M-16 cut") because it's literally less than 2 extra minutes on the CNC and eliminates as much potential part incompatibility as possible. Just because a lower sells for clown-price >$300 from a company with a "military contract pedigree" doesn't mean they won't put out low-shelf slop.
Mahlegos@reddit
I haven’t seen the post in question, but it’s a low shelf.
Eklypto__@reddit
I wish I could do that but I live in a weapon ban state so no more lowers for me
tefl0n18@reddit
Another frt ‘pre-sale’ like atrius. I’ll pass till a vendor can actually have some in stock ready to ship. Till then, I’ll just run my super safeties.
nope_noway_@reddit
For real, this is getting out of hand
Crossblue@reddit
Gen 3 Kriss vector when?
contactfront8650@reddit (OP)
Its on the list to do
Crossblue@reddit
I know someone else is making a FRT. I’ll buy whichever comes out first tbh
muffinman1604@reddit
Yeah duality arms co. They've been kind of slow, but are supposedly making progress recently.
Crossblue@reddit
👀👀👀👀👀
CannaChemistry@reddit
Stribog version go brrrrr
muffinman1604@reddit
ASD will have stribog super safety lowers
dankvader192@reddit
Yup I'm in for one when they're done, wary of a preorder
geopede@reddit
So does this give you a 3 position selector? Or is a push side to side like some other super safety designs?
Ryuzenski@reddit
BASED AS FUCK
Wander-in-Jalalabad@reddit
Nice shit love it
feeCboy@reddit
Trying to find some sort of video showing the product in action. Any help with a lead?
Dense_hardwood@reddit
Does this design rotate on the selector itself instead of the lower? Looks interesting
