Any sort of streaming I think is lowkey dumb. I'm not against it per se, but I personally won't spend 6 hours of my life to watch someone play a game, when I know damn well there's gonna be a 30 minutes long video that condenses those 6 hours into a comprehensible and entertaining experience. I've rarely been excited for a livestream, and I have rarely sat through one from start to finish. I sometimes watch one for a few minutes, then leave because it's just not that entertaining usually. I'm much more used to edited videos that summarize a stream. And this isn't about short attention span or need for entertainment at all times (such as Family Guy clips or Subway Surfers gameplay), but more so about the fact that there's a type of content I'm more used to, and I don't like changing things if I can avoid it. Also, I don't like sitting through 20 minutes of silence because Mr. Streamer went for a shit and forgot he was live and went on his phone for too long. At least in VODs I can skip that, but not on streams, which is another reason why I don't like them. I have nothing against those who watch them or those who stream, but it's not my kind of stuff. If I was a content creator, I most likely would do streams, though, because then I get to actually do something.
