Would you align a vehicle with a bad tire? Busted belt?

If your old tires are massively stiffer or softer than your new tires.. sure that's possible. OR I guess if a car is on 4 old tires, and One of those tires had some weird sidewall issue (like they got really soft) and you align the car, then a week later you get new tires and all 4 have non damaged sidewalls? Sure But its not very likely. If I swap from 4 snow tires to 4 high performance summers , I still think its going to be fine. I've done a ton of auto racing, some pit & driveway alignment jobs, and dozens of alignments on my race cars. That said, I could be wrong, maybe it makes a huge difference. but it doesn't make sense to me. I suppose if the old tires have really uneven wear that could do it. cords showing on the outer 1/5th and full tread in the middle or inner edge. all my pavement racing tires generally wear fairly evenly, outer edges at 0mm tread left when the rest probably has 2mm My rally tires usually have a bigger difference, and sometimes dramatic chunks missing. You know.. sometimes I get it aligned with streets on it, and sometimes rally tires. I should check my not very complete notes if my favorite alignment specs were set from rally tires or streets. Rally (subaru impreza) I usually liked something around -2 in the front with 0 toe and -1.5 in the rear with the tiniest toe in the tech will suffer through setting. lol Keeps the car very flick-able but stable @ 100 in the dirt. hmmm
