I have a question for you. If the local city/county and state police won't protect it's citizens, then what would you do?

You are paying taxes that aren't being spent based on the state consitution (i.e. protection, law enforcement, etc). So crime is up, you and your family encounter dangerous situations on a weekly basis. You call for police and they never show up. Murders, violent criminals, etc get arrested and released the next day. Your business gets destroyed and nobody gets arrested or is released a day later.

What is the next step? Local governments aren't doing anything, so who do you go to next?

Agreed. I recently watched this TED talk by an Epidemiologist discussing how violence spreads just like a disease. They’re essentially creating hot spots and trying to spread the contagion to incite a means of implementing martial law.

One of the best things we can do is treat violence like a disease. This epidemiologist apparently started an NGO that trains folks to de-escalate violence. I’m digging into this now, because I think it’s one of the ways we can minimize the threat of martial law and civil war.
