Looking for information on Bull-Dog revolver

Hello, A coworker of mine has two firearms he has inherited several years ago. One of them is this Bull-Dog style revolver. He doesn't know much about it, but believes it was his great Grandfather's. He has sent me these pictures, and i said i would post them to try and help him identify it. We are in the US. He thinks it could be European, but I am unsure. Please help us identify it if possible.

It is in fact a bulldog, unsure whether it's british or belgian. The belgians copied these often. More than likely this one is in .450 adams judging by the size of the cylinder and the chambers. I don't know very much about these little guys.

Thank you for your assistance. I will try and show him this next week. I don't think he would ever try and shoot it, but it has been in his family for a long time.

You could measure caliber and chamber sizes

From what my brother has told me from researching his bull dog is that there are many that were made by Belgian watch makers

Yes. Liège, Belgium was known for a lot of that.

Definitely European, beyond a doubt.
