I hate the feeling of walking around with sandy feet in shoes and for me no matter how much i try to get the sant off it doesn't completely go off.
I like Stone beaches more because i also find that the water is much more clear on Stone beaches in most cases.

I realized that beach preferences are very much a thing you acquire while growing up. I remember being in Romania with some friends, and the Romanians asking us whether we liked the Black Sea coast. We all said not really, because it was sandy and muddy. They were shocked.
Then the Romanians told us they hated Croatian beaches because they were so rocky and steep. We were shocked.
Turns out it's just whatever you grew up with.
Sand of course but not the very fine but the medium size.
I hate pebbles beaches. (Croatia mostly have those)
Here we have 5000 more beaches to choose.
stony, I just couldn't get used to sand beaches, and swimming in the ocean compared to the peacefull adriatic sea. I easily walk on stone beaches (no need for those ugly shoes) - years of practice :D
Stony beaches. Your feet get used to the rocks eventually and you dont feel pain anymore. I like beaches that have very big rocks tho, not pebbles. Pebbles are like legos.

the fish and crabs and such things love stony sea bed.
there is always **WAY WAY** more of them on a stony beach then on a sandy beach.
they know best ;)
for the same reason people that grew up on a seacoast and know what's up will prefer stony beaches.
and also...
for the same reason people that grew up far away from the sea will prefer sandy beaches...
because they are often afraid or creeped out of all the sea creatures milling around on a stony beach
i like the sand better. but if the beach is stony, that means the sea is more calm in there. for example in Aegean northern parts will be more sandy and it will get more stony through the south.
