Did they ever really look good in the first place, though? Maybe their price tag, which was a huge deal at the time, blinded some people.

Well that’s surprising to me. For me it looks better than a Chiron or Tourbillon. Simply a stunning, beautiful car. But maybe it’s cuz i like rounded cars like this or the original Audi R8
